My wife and I sought refuge in your abode from a week of shoulder season camping, which meant no showers or running water. It was beating down rain the night we arrived but still you took the time to welcome us
with open arms and make us feel at home.
You told us where to go in town to find a great deal on prawns, where to get some groceries, and took the time to make sure we were happy and comfortable in our room.
Your thoughtful kindnesses turned what had been a so-so rainy day into something magical that we still recall fondly after more than a year's passage of time.
We've stayed in hotels, motels, inns, and bed and breakfasts all over North America, Japan, and Australia. In some so-called "high end" places, we've spent 5 times the prices you charged and not received 10% of the service and care you gave us.
All these businesses are dedicated to the provision of a bed for the night for travelers, but very few of them elevate such a basic offering to the level of a memorable experience that makes one want to
return simply out of appreciation for the care, service, and attention provided. You are one of those exceptional few.
So a very belated thank you. It's been over a year since we stayed with you, and it was only unearthing your business card today during spring cleaning that reminded me I never sent this thank you to you.
In a world where we all seem forced to accept ever decreasing service and customer care as the norm, the Stonewater stands as an exception that shows it's still possible to provide excellent service, reasonable rates, and magical experiences without breaking the budget.
Yours is a jewel of a place and I wish you all the success you so richly deserve.

I and the other eight in the crowd want to thank you for the lovely motel of yours we stayed at last Tuesday night. We decided to stay only the one night but now reflecting, we wished to have stayed two. A great coastline.
A lovely spot to enjoy.The rooms and deck were really nice and we certainly appreciated the barbecue you provided. We also noticed the detailing that you put into the rooms.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in one of your units this past weekend.
We were having dinner on Friday night at the Golf Course and the staff there suggested we try to get a room at the Stonewater as we were wondering where a nice place to stay would be.
We were lucky enough to get the last available unit # 101.
This unit has to be one of the most well stocked and cleanest units we have ever been in. It was a true delight and it was so well decorated. Very nice and what a treat.
We both want to pass on our compliments for a job well done to you and your staff and if we or any of our friends are heading up to Garden Bay area again we will be sure to tell them to book ahead and stay at the Stonewater.
